The stock tank pool is the project that ended up all over the internet. Originally posted on Apartment Therapy San Francisco, it was reposted and linked all over the place. Even Soule Mama (!!!) shared it on her sidebar. That was pretty awesome.
We love the pool, it gets a ton of use in the summer.
For her fifth birthday, I moved furniture around in Bean’s room and the husband and I built her a floating pine desk. It’s a great fit for her room, and it was a pretty quick project.
Recently, I had to do a plumbing repair and decided to run a little bit of a mini makeover under the sink.
Rather than remodel the kitchen (which it definitely needs), I grabbed some paint and new hardware and went to town. The other big change that made a big difference was that I dyed the grout between the floor tiles. There were so much interest in the process of redoing the kitchen, I wrote a post just about the materials I used.
I try to post regularly about new recipes we try for dinner. Every month we get a big box of meat from a local meat csa, so I have to figure out a bunch of new recipes for cuts I would never had gotten otherwise. I also try to hit the farmers market and eat seasonally.
